The History Research Centers at the Houston Public Library have been a cornerstone of the community for decades. I had the opportunity to rebrand all three HRC's within the HPL system. The previous logos were inspired by the buildings’ architecture, but we wanted to create a design with deeper meaning. I developed a symbol that represents both growth and knowledge, encapsulating the essence of the HRC's.
