Brand in Use for the Houston Public Library provided a glimpse into the new elements that enhance and refresh the HPL brand. These updates included promotional items, marketing materials, and outreach banners, among other assets.
Promotional items like library cards, lanyards, folders, and tote bags, use the official HPL logo prominently and maintain consistent branding with primary colors and fonts. For youth-oriented items, use secondary colors, and for special events or collections, apply the designated colors like fun gradients or special collections hues. This ensures a cohesive and recognizable HPL identity.
Marketing materials such as panel cards, posters, event flyers, and brochures, prominently feature the official HPL logo and adhere to the library's primary colors and fonts for consistency. Use secondary colors for youth-focused content and special collections colors for historical or research-related materials. Incorporate fun gradient colors for community events to add vibrancy.
